Say hello! Introduce yourself!
Uilani Kailiwai - Thursday, June 30th, 2005 5:38 PM PDT
Lonnie, Just read through all the lyrics and they each touched my heart in their own way. After years of only hearing my fathers words during a flashback of the jungle, only now do I have a better understanding of his "disability". I will send the CD to him and am sure it will touch him as well. Years as a child spent thinking we were cheated and robbed of a father he could have been....if only...I look forward to working with such a talented and insightful person as yourself. May God bless all of your endeavors. Uilani Shereamore Rath (Shere) - Saturday, May 28th, 2005 2:48 PM PDT So I am signing your guestbook. I am really into poetry, as you know, and I was looking through your lyrics...you write very well and I must say that "October 1969" specifically touched me deeply. ..."And the progress of man will not forget the progress of God..." What a great line. There are so many great lines in that song. I can't tell you! You are talented! It was absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to singing. Cathy Carlson-Hollingshead - Thursday, March 24th, 2005 7:58 AM PST Lonnie, I listed to a few song clips of your songs and I think they are great. I wanted to introduce myself. I live in Sedona, AZ and I am a professional songwriter with songs in film and tv. I can identify with your songs because a song I co-wrote with the "Dyers Daughters" is currently on "GAC" Great American Country". The song "My Lucky Stars and Stripes" is a tribute to all veterans. Barbara Bush acknowledged the song. It was also performed by the Dyers last Memorial Day at the Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. Here's the web link to the song which is playing on GAC - Great American Country TV (Music Videos) right after Shania Twain's video. Choose either 56K or 300K (Choose either one directly under the black screen with blue/gray lettering that says "The One Network": http://theonenetwork.com/playvideo.asp?type=music&videoid=u_dyersdaughters_mylucky Would you be interested in performing at any showcases in Sedona if I can set them up? Also are you familiar with any songwriter organizations which I can connect with? I used to be an Event Coordinator in LA for "NSAI" the Nashville Songwriters Assoc. International. I also have another music video which aired on the Sedona Now Channel throughout Sept. 2004 to honor 9/11 victims. It's on my website at: http://www.sonicgarden.com/sonic-web/artist.cfm?artistid=16355 Thank you for your time and I hope you can get back to me. Cathy Carlson-Hollingshead Charles Fanghella - Thursday, January 27th, 2005 5:00 PM PST Lonnie; You are presently working with my nephew's girlfriend Corrinne. (I'm out here in CT and my family is out there in AZ) I am a longtime lounge lizard musician and strong supporter of all Vietnam Vets (age 55). My drummer has produced some excellent tunes that we are trying to get in front of the right people. I was wondering if you would give them a listen and give us your thoughts. Thanks Charles molinee - Monday, October 18th, 2004 11:34 PM PDT Hope your well. Just want to say congrats on all of your accomplishments!!!
